Idea for a new topic

Postby Dilbert » Dec 07 2004 7:34 am

Hi,

What about a new topic: humour from the lab.

People could write down funny anecdotes and strange things happening on the lab.

Just my 2 cents.

Not a bad idea. I'm sure we've all got a story to tell

The Science Advisory Board Forum already has a humor section.

Good idea! And while we're at it: a histology section?

Hi dilbert!

I agree with you too!
I think it can be inclusive of all sorts of microscopy and imaging techniques.
Just hope that the moderators take notice and support this too.
I am not sure how to start a poll though...if we need to?

Cheers!
kavita.

Hi Kavita,

It seems to me that a moderator/administrator has to do that. So it's just a matter of waiting for a reaction from a moderator/administrator.

Greetings,
Dilbert.

I think only Strom can do this, he is the site administrator. Why not send him an email

good idea... only if the topic doesn't include posts which are too carried away!

regards.

My idea was to make it lab-related humour, so only funny things related to the lab (wrong orders can be included) and NO comments on the postings. It would just be writing down funny stuff.

I'm not trying to ignore you all. The time I can devote to scanning the forums is limited.

Back to additional forums. Before adding new ones, I want to make sure that they will be used enough, although that's never really seemed to be a problem, such as with the qPCR forum. I'm going to start three polls regarding the addition of boards for microscopy and imaging techniques (including histology, etc), humor (a little nervous about this one :) ), and Tissue Engineering. I'll let these run through the end of the year and we'll see what we have.

Thanks again all of you for your support of the forums.

posts like this are just shallow phrases to cover-up spam (links hidden in the signature)

to me they have zero value to the actual thread they are put, most of all if it is resurrecting threads being inactive for WAY long time
