generating microarray figures

Postby prenpride » Mar 26 2010 11:43 pm

Hi,
I have done a couple of microarrays but I want to show my data in the form that is seen in most papers.
For instance I want to show that one of my genes is 2^4=16 fold UP by showing it as a red block versus a non-treated/Mock samples as a green block.
I wanted to know if there is any free software out there by which I can show my data in this manner.

Thanks!

are you asking about free software for graphing or for handling microarray data?

if for microarray data handling then see the response to this topic:

otherwise, you can search version tracker: http://www.versiontracker.com/windows/

I was referring to free software that can help me generate microarray figures seen in papers-where they depict fold changes using heat maps.

Hi every body, new to this forum and got a new question bit similar to the topic.
Its about reverse dot blot and i got 2 question.
1) Does a oligonucleotide probe DIG labelled fixed in the membrane hybridized with multiplex PCR product works?
2) Does a non labelled oligonucleotide probe fixed in membrane hybridized with DIG labbled PCR product work?
Hope to get a prompt reply.
Have a great weekend.
