it's hard to say. they all do the same thing in different ways. and they're all good.

find the one that meets your requirements now and in the foreseeable future.

we use agilent, one of my neighbors has an illumina system but uses it for another purpose (elisa replacement) and one other sends their stuff out for affymetrex. we're all happy.

and how do you extract RNA for Microarray?

I have heard that RNA should be cleaner than usual.

as far as i know, everyone here is using routine procedures (kits).

it's the preparation of crna and labeling that may require more stringent cleaning, but, that is also kit-based.
