CFX96 Possible Damage

Postby Kid Danger » Mar 18 2017 1:36 am

Hi everyone,

I am new here. Posting because I am very concerned a new student in my lab ran a qrt-pcr reaction in my Biorad CFX96 (great instrument BTW) WITHOUT sealing the reaction tubes. Can this cause permanent damage to the optical reader or the machine in general? Anyone have experience with this kind of mishap? Any advice is greatly appreciated.
