Direct viewing of flourescence glow

Postby Mahirah » Apr 17 2005 11:15 am

Hi again,

I was asking about the possibilities to view the green flourescence of E.coli containing pEGFP directly after culturing onto plate from the glycerol stock. I came across genegun's question posted on the April 8th...it could be the answer to my question... .

Does it means that I have to transfect the plasmid into the mamalian cell (I'm thinking of CHO cells) then I'll able to see the glow?

Regards,
