How to open .ids from NIKON by Image J.please?

Postby wangleipurdue » Jun 03 2010 2:35 am

Dear all,

I use Nikon C1 confocal microscope for confocal Z-axis images, however the format from this machine is .ids and I can not open it by Image J which I normally use to analyze Z-axis images, is there anyone who knows how to use Image J to open .ids from Nikon C1,please?

Thank you.

surfing the web, I found this: http://valelab.ucsf.edu/~nico/ijplugins/Ics_Opener.html
hope it helps...

even if I think you don't need any plugin to import your stacks, just click on File->Import->Image Sequence and open up your .ids file

Thank Gnapponico so much. Your method works very well for us and it also solve our postdoc's problem who uses Mac not PC.

Thanks.
