Tests for identifying bacteria?

Postby Marissafielden » Dec 29 2017 7:25 am

Hi all,

Can anyone please tell me Is there any other tests (i need 2) besides Gram stain or catalase test which can be used to identify bacteria?

Thanks!

Nowadays, you can use PCR to identify bacteria in body fluid or beer. The advantage is that you do not have to grow up the bacteria in culture before you run the test.
